1. Responsible Lobbying & Advocacy Framework
A. Public Declaration on Political Engagement
Eventcube does not engage in political lobbying, political campaigning, or direct legislative advocacy. We do not employ lobbyists, nor do we dedicate corporate resources to altering specific government legislation for private commercial gain. To ensure complete transparency, this declaration is made publicly available to all stakeholders via our company website.
B. Principles of Contingent Advocacy
Should Eventcube ever determine that a public policy issue directly threatens our core mission, our community of event organisers, or our B Corp values, any resulting advocacy will strictly adhere to the following guardrails:
- Positive Impact Imperative: Eventcube will engage in advocacy or public policy discussions only when the clear, intended objective is to make a positive impact on society or the environment (e.g., championing digital privacy laws or green data infrastructure regulations).
- Data-Driven Approach: Any public policy position adopted by Eventcube must be grounded in and supported by reliable, verified, or peer-reviewed scientific data. We strictly prohibit the use of unverified claims or politically biased data.
C. Political Contributions, Anti-Corruption & Bribery
- Political Donations: Eventcube enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding political spending. The company does not make any financial or in-kind political contributions to political parties, campaigns, committees, or individual politicians. Corporate funds, spaces, or resources must never be used for political fundraising.
- Anti-Bribery and Corruption: Eventcube operates with the highest standards of commercial ethics. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for all forms of bribery, extortion, embezzlement, and corruption. Employees are strictly prohibited from offering, giving, soliciting, or accepting gifts, hospitality, or financial inducements that could be perceived to improperly influence a business or regulatory outcome.
D. Intermediary & Trade Associations
If Eventcube joins an intermediary organisation, industry body, or trade association, the operations team will perform a pre-membership audit. This control ensures that the intermediary’s public policy and lobbying positions remain fully consistent with Eventcube’s internal ethical codes and this policy. Eventcube retains the right to withdraw from any organisation that lobbies against progressive social or environmental advancements.
2. Policy Governance, Control & Risk Management
A. Executive Accountability
The Head of Operations is the designated executive-level position held directly accountable for enforcing, implementing, and maintaining this policy across all company departments.
B. Embedding & Risk Management
- Operational Integration: This framework is embedded in Eventcube’s everyday operations by including anti-corruption and political neutrality clauses in our standard employee onboarding training and vendor procurement agreements.
- Risk Monitoring: To identify, manage, and monitor compliance risks, the Head of Operations conducts an annual compliance risk assessment. This review cross-references all outbound corporate expenses, marketing content, and industry memberships to verify that zero funds or brand assets have been inadvertently connected to political lobbying or unethical transactions.
- Compliance Evaluation: Compliance with this control framework is independently evaluated during Eventcube’s year-end leadership audits, with the outcomes reported directly to the founders.
C. Whistleblowing & Stakeholder Concerns
We encourage a culture of transparency and accountability. If any worker, customer, supplier, or external community member suspects that Eventcube has breached its anti-corruption standards or engaged in irresponsible advocacy, they can raise their concerns immediately. All submissions are processed securely under Eventcube’s Public Grievance Procedure (PSG3.2), ensuring full whistleblower protection, confidentiality, and target resolution timelines.
3. Collective Action & Systemic Change
Eventcube believes in leveraging its technological footprint to drive systemic change toward an equitable, inclusive, and regenerative economy. We actively participate in collective action across our value chain through two core tracks:
Track 1: Industry & Value Chain Mentorship
- The Objective: Eventcube provides structured pro-bono mentorship to grassroots, community-led, or impact-driven startups and event organisers. The explicit goal is to help these mentees scale their digital capabilities while adopting sustainable operational models (e.g., transitioning physical operations to low-impact, hybrid digital frameworks).
- Verified Outcomes: Eventcube records the formal nature of these mentorship pathways, requiring the beneficiary to provide written verification confirming the positive social or environmental impact achieved through the engagement.
Track 2: Thought Leadership for a Regenerative Economy
- The Objective: Eventcube utilises its public platforms, engineering insights, and industry influence to publish open-source thought leadership focused on digital sustainability.
- The Impact: By publishing detailed guides, case studies, and articles that highlight methods to reduce the carbon and data footprints of virtual streaming and ticketing, Eventcube seeks to collaboratively shift the wider events sector toward a circular, low-impact economic model.
4. Formal Approval & Publication
- Board Approval: This policy has been formally reviewed, vetted, and approved by Eventcube's highest governing body—the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Review Frequency: The SLT will formally review this policy at least once every 24 months to ensure alignment with international anti-corruption frameworks and evolving B Corp guidance.
- Public Webpage Availability: This complete document is published transparently on Eventcube’s public webpage (accessible via our standard compliance footer at eventcube.io/government-affairs) to remain permanently open to all public stakeholders.
