Southport Flower Show is the largest independent flower show in the UK. After enlisting Eventcube to help with their ticket sales we created a bespoke store to sit within their existing website. Working alongside a second partner, we integrated Southport’s chosen ticket scanning solution to enable on entrance to the show.
Attracting over 50,000 visitors over its 4 days, the Southport Flower Show is the biggest of its kind in the UK, with a variety of show gardens, a grand floral marquee and a pop up shopping village. A host of celebrity guests also join the proceedings, sharing gardening tips, teaching you new skills in the kitchen or simply keeping the kids entertained.
Tasked with refreshing the SFS ticket page Eventcube created a bespoke storefront that would sit alongside their own website, simplifying the purchasing journey for their customers whilst keeping them within their own environment.
Integration with the existing site was key, as we wanted to make the transaction as simple and easy as possible for customers that may have not been used to purchasing tickets online before.
In the lead up to the event itself we integrated our checkout flow with another scanning solution to sync the barcoded tickets generated by Eventcube to their system, so that their scanner could validate them at the door. This also allowed purchases onsite to be pushed live to the scanners immediately, enabling online sales to continue even after doors had opened.
